Because of Him

There’s hope again

O’er sin

We’ll win

And live again!

My friend, it’s all

Because of Him.

 

Because He came

And took our shame

Stilled the wave

His life He gave,

And conquered the grave

Again and again,

I’ll praise His name

Because He came.

 

Because He lives

Great grace He gives

Making a way

For me today

To walk His way

What can I say?

Unworthy I’m alway

Each day I’ll pray

By His side to stay

My life I’ll give

Because He lives!
